About Us
In Innovative Science and the Economy
For forty years, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies has specialised in fostering innovation in the areas of machine design and operation, technical safety, and environmental protection. The Institute also develops model solutions related to lifelong learning programmes and workforce development for an innovative economy, as well as the transfer of advanced technologies to industrial applications. These areas constitute the foundation of the European Union’s development strategy, including that of Poland.
Focusing on research priorities of key importance at both the European and national levels has enabled the Institute to undertake and address cognitive and applied research challenges that are scientifically innovative and exceptionally effective in economic and social terms.

Education
I hold a PhD in the Humanities (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, 2005) and am also a graduate of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication (Jagiellonian University, 2020).
Experience
I have many years of managerial experience in leading large, multi-person teams. I have been responsible for the implementation of major investments based on cutting-edge technologies. I am a lecturer (assistant professor) at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Radom.
Interests
History of science and technology, philosophy, Polish painting of the second half of the 19th century, travel, and kayaking.
Priority for My Term of Office
In addition to effective management of the Institute, I would like to develop and implement an original nationwide programme that will rebuild the ethos of the Polish engineer and reverse the unfavourable trend of declining interest among Polish youth in technical fields of study. My ambition is to implement this project at all levels of education.
About Łukasiewicz
As part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, ITEE has the opportunity to implement strategic projects, exchange experience and good practices, and more effectively fulfil its mission within the Social Responsibility of Science.
Additional Information
I am also active in the field of scientific research. My academic output includes approximately 100 scholarly and popular science publications, including several books. My dissertation won first place in a competition organised by the National Cooperative Council for the best academic work on cooperatives in the category of doctoral and postdoctoral dissertations. I am a co-author of the first multimedia textbook on the history of Radom in Poland.
In the years 2016–2021, I carried out a research grant entitled “Cooperativism – Between Idea and Practice” at the University of Warsaw, supervised by Professor Marcin Król.
I was responsible for the development of the Museum of the History of Radom, based on state-of-the-art technologies. In 2023, I implemented the pioneering nationwide “Radom Programme of Historical Education,” of which I am the originator and author. During the first year of the programme’s implementation, approximately 10,000 students took part in it.
I am also active in the field of social engagement. From 2007 to 2010, I served as President of the Radom Scientific Society, and from 2011 to 2022, I was President of the VADE MECUM Association, which supports the development of talented youth from Radom. Media About Us
Our History
The history of the Institute dates back to 1986, when the Interministerial Scientific Centre for the Operation of Fixed Assets (MCNEMT) was established by a Resolution of the Council of Ministers.
In 1994, as a result of the consistent implementation of a new and ambitious development strategy that enabled adaptation to a changing external environment and successive systems of science governance, the MCNEMT was transformed into the Institute for Sustainable Technologies. Since 2004, it has held the status of a State Research Institute, becoming the third institution in Poland to obtain this designation.
Today, Łukasiewicz – ITeE is a modern research and development institution with a well-established position in the national scientific community, also enjoying recognition on the international stage.
