Journal of Sustainable Technologies – new edition of the journal
Journal of Sustainable Technologies. Problemy Eksploatacji (Problems of Exploitation) is a national scientific and technical journal with a nearly 30-year tradition, which since its inception has been focused on forward-looking industrial applications inspired by scientific research. The journal’s activities in its new guise have resumed since 2026, after a 6-year hiatus.
The now-interdisciplinary, English-language journal will provide a platform for disseminating the latest research results, conducted for sustainable development and security in the broadest sense, bringing together different disciplines in the field of science and innovative technologies, in four areas converging with the strategic directions of the Lukasiewicz Research Network, i.e.: chemistry for industry, closed-loop economy, energy transition, and security and transportation. All articles are peer-reviewed, in accordance with publication ethics, to ensure high-quality, original material.
The content – published free of charge in open access (Open Access, CC BY) – which has a DOI identifier, is aimed primarily at academics and researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, technologists, technical experts, as well as students seeking expertise in high-tech areas. The involvement of respected specialists in the scientific fields that constitute the journal’s subject areas guarantees the high level of published works. The electronic system for managing the JST will enable professional publishing services, including anti-plagiarism analysis of materials and counteracting unethical use of artificial intelligence during their preparation.
The strategy for the coming years is primarily to systematically increase the number of articles and frequency of the journal, increase its reach and citability, and index it in the Scopus database.
We invite you to contribute to our journal by publishing your work, citing and/or joining as a reviewer. For more information, please visit the journal’s website at https://jst.itee.lukasiewicz.gov.pl/
